I am Max Beatty. By day, I am a security analyst specializing in identify and access management for Accenture. At night, I stay up late improving my design and development skills while blogging occasionally. During the rest of my waking hours, I consume everything technology– from startups to standards to security. My friends don’t understand it, but I love it.

I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana loving basketball and math. Their competitiveness and logic lead me to computers and an appreciation for security and usability. I graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in May 2009 earning a BS degree in Informatics with cognates (like minors) in Cyber Security and Telecommunications. My passions include simple, intuitive design and helping everyday people keep their sensitive information secure with ease.

I’m not a pure designer or developer. When I do one, I keep the other in mind. The result is both aesthetically and semantically pleasing.
