My name is Max Beatty. I used to be a security analyst for Accenture, and stayed up late improving my design and development skills. When I decided I wasn’t enjoying that anymore, I packed my car and moved to Silicon Valley to be a front end engineer at Reputation.com. I still dabble designing iPhone apps and hacking on side projects in my spare time.

My life in less than 500 characters: I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana loving basketball and math. Their competitiveness and logic lead me to computers and an appreciation for security and usability. I graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in May 2009 earning a BS degree in Informatics with cognates in Cyber Security and Telecommunications. My passions include simple, intuitive design and helping everyday people keep their sensitive information secure with ease.

I’m not a pure designer or developer. When I do one, I keep the other in mind. The result is both aesthetically and semantically pleasing.
