The Griffins pay homage to “The Empire Strikes Back.”
I wan’t to become a hacker… but you know like the good kind. What are some things I should first learn about hacking?
First, read about the history of the word ‘hacker’. WIRED magazine had a great article last month that touched on how the word has become tarnished- http://www.wired.com/magazine/2010/04/ff_hackers
Second, if you are serious you must learn whatever it is you want to hack inside and out. That may be operating systems or your Wii or maybe your dryer to make it tweet when the clothes are done. Learn everything you can about it and then you can start making it do what you want it to.
if you google how to hack formspring, you’re the first thing that comes up. hahahahha.
I’ve noticed that and it’s getting to the point where I’m almost ready to remove ‘hacker’ from my bio so I stop getting stupid questions like “will you hack formspring for me?” and “how can I find out who this anonymous person was who asked me this question?”
Past and Planning
5 years ago I graduated from high school
1 year ago I graduated from college
6 months ago I started working for Accenture
3 months ago I started on my current client project
3 months from now my lease is up
6 months from now I qualify for 401k matching and stock purchasing
9 months from now I’ll be looking for my next client project
And 1 year from now I don’t know what I’ll be doing, where I’ll be, or how I feel about it
But I do know I’m going to see Conan tomorrow and to the Indy 500 next week
That’s enough planning, for me, for now.
