Summary: Poor Scott Nicholson lives with his parents in a Boston suburb as he turns down $40,000 jobs. His father and grandfather worked their way up corporate ladders to achieve their success. They don’t understand how Scott can’t be catapulted to the top without ever lifting a finger. “So he struggles to get a foothold in the civilian work force. His brother in Boston lost his roommate, and early last month Scott moved into the empty bedroom, with his parents paying Scott’s share of the $2,000-a-month rent until the lease expires on Aug. 31.”

“I can find work but it doesn’t pay $75,000 like my brother’s job so I’ll turn it down and complain that the recession is holding me down.” How did he get featured in a New York Times piece?

Heyyy! I have a mac computer but I REALLY definitely have to get into one of my friend’s formspring accounts. I do not know her password but I do know her username and it’s EXTREMELY! important that I get into her account. How do I get her password?

I know I preface all my other you-are-stupid answers with this is a serious reply, but this time I mean it.

Friends are the easiest people to collection information from. Think about it. You’re always sharing information with each other- stories from your past, current likes/dislikes, plans for the future. Passwords are generally (read: always) made of personal information like names, years, and inside jokes. If you don’t have inside jokes and consider yourself friends, you aren’t really friends.

Friends are also very trusting. Has your friend ever used your computer? Have you ever used theirs? Both are great opportunities to either collect data or put something in place that will. Ever store a password on someone else’s computer out of habit? It happens alot. I wrote about it a long time ago
